Herry Monster was found abandoned and incredibly sick on one of the coldest days of Winter. I rushed him to the vet, where he received fluids and spent and overnight. He was diagnosed with a multitude of issues, including feline lice (a first for my rescue), intestinal bacteria of some form leading to terribly stinky diarrhea, and a viral infection. Thus he received a whole kitchen sink's worth of medication, costing well over $400 in costs. He also received a shave to help clear up the lice! Despite such a grim beginning, Herry Monster's spirit shone so bright! He was happy from the beginning to receive any attention, warmth and food.
